"You will just have to accept being addressed by a disembodied voice just as I accept the compulsion to speak out even though I am painfully aware that I am talking to an invisible, perhaps nonexistent audience." --Robert Shea, The Eye in the Pyramid

Ding
I got Ding from an ad in the paper when I lived in Phoenix. Extremely sweet, but very skittish. Overwhelming need to make friends, which can make for some interesting internal struggles when you also realize she's totally afraid of strangers, new situations, movements, and most sounds. A carving in styrofoam. The assignment was to have a completed, ready-to-display sculpture completed in a week. Over Labor Day weekend, incidentally, during which I'll be out of town.

Faux Bronze Head
a plaster head, originally just the test cast of the mold for the transparent heads, but I figured I'd do something with it.
